Our Costs

Each complete kit for our Responders (including a defibrillator, oxygen meter and other equipment) costs £2,000. Our Public Access Defibrillators are also expensive – each battery alone costs around £300 and needs replacing every 4 years.

SAFeR is a charity and receives no government or local authority funding.

Responders and trustees give their services for free. No-one involved with the scheme receives any remuneration.

Gift Aid

We are a registered charity and can claim tax back from the Inland Revenue for donations which are made within the Gift Aid scheme.

To send us a donation, please download and print our donation form and send with your cheque made payable to Steyning Area First Responders Trust. It would help us greatly if you could opt in to Gift Aid.
