Beyond our emergency response work, our team is passionate about sharing vital first aid knowledge with local groups. Recently, team members Liz and Frank visited the Joint Parish Youth Club for two special training evenings.

The first session welcomed 25 enthusiastic young people aged 8-12, along with 5 adults. The group heard about essential CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) techniques and had hands-on experience with an AED (Automated External Defibrillator).

Every participant left with a certificate of attendance and a handy reminder card featuring the DRABC steps: Danger, Response, Airway, Breathing, Call for help 999.

The enthusiasm was infectious, with countless questions showing just how engaged these young people were in picking up these potentially life-saving skills. It’s wonderful to see the next generation taking an interest in helping others!

A big thank you to the Joint Parish Youth Club for having us. 🙌

Please contact us if you would like to hold a CPR and AED life saving demo for your group or organisation.
